Our Business Was Bought

The company I work for was bought this weekend. I came into work and we all had an email. It pretty much said: "(Insert Business name) was bought by a Norwegian company." Literally. That's it. No one here had a friggin clue. My boss didn't even know. What does this mean?

I don't think anything. If anything it might mean better IT spending. Not that it is bad here but in other facilities it's not that great. This stuff can be a little unnerving sometimes.
