i was wondering why you don't have a yellow ropey thing too...
Out of a 4.0 grade point average:
Silver Rope Thingy means high honors. Which is a grade point average between 3.6 and 3.8. The Gold rope thingie means Highest Honors is 3.8 to a 4.0. 4.0 is basically getting full score on EVERYTHING for two years.

now i feel bad for the guy in front as he hasn't got any ropey thing...lol
We'd probably end up choking him with it so it's probably a good idea he didn't have one.
awwwww that would just be wrong and cruel...someone already gave him a whomping with an ugly stick...lol
